The City of Tega Cay is part of York County, South Carolina. Situated on a peninsula on Lake Wylie, it is home to approximately 4,500 residents. Tega Cay is Polynesian for "Beautiful Peninsula" and the city's lakefront views definitely live up to the name. It is also known as "The City of Trees" due to the wooded areas including hardwood trees and tall pines.
